The day has come, and we have fulfilled our objective, concluding a journey that started in 2018 when you were little girls. Now, you have grown into young, beautiful, disciplined, and mature ladies. The consistent effort and dedication over the years went by fast as it was enjoyable. Congratulations on reaching this notable milestone.

The Easter Triduum is the heart of Holy Week: these are three holy days in which the Church celebrates only one great Easter: the Passion, Death and Resurrection of the Lord. Benedict XVI called it the "fulcrum" (the center) of the entire liturgical year.

What are those three days?

Holy Thursday (afternoon/night): the Triduum begins with the Mass of the Supper of the Lord. The Eucharist and the priesthood are commemorated, and the mandate of love (washing of the feet).

Good Friday: the Church does not celebrate Mass. The Passion of the Lord is celebrated: the Gospel of the Passion is proclaimed, the world is prayed, and the Cross is adored.
Holy Saturday (night): the Easter Vigil, "mother" of all vigils: the new fire is lit, the history of salvation is proclaimed, and the Resurrection (and usually baptisms) is celebrated.

Eye: are they "three days" even though it starts on Thursday afternoon?

Yes, because in liturgy it is counted from late to late (as in the biblical tradition). That is why the Triduum goes from the afternoon of Holy Thursday until the afternoon of Easter Sunday..
