🎮💻 IDEA Public Schools is excited to recognize three outstanding educators helping students turn curiosity into real computer science skills: Alejandro Mora, Cesar Reyna, and Mr. James De La Peña.

Through the Programming and Software Development pathway, these teachers guide students as they learn to code, design games, solve complex problems, and explore future careers in technology. Their classrooms are places where students build confidence, take creative risks, and discover how computer science connects to the real world.

With more than 40 IDEA schools offering computer science courses and 350 graduating students completing the Programming and Software Development pathway during the 2025-2026 school year, we are proud to celebrate the teachers helping make this impact possible.

💻🌟 Today we are proud to spotlight three incredible IDEA Public Schools CTE computer science teachers: Alexaundra “Lexi” Robles, Abiel Cordova, and Lynda Grimaldo.

As part of the Programming and Software Development pathway, these educators are helping students build the skills, confidence, and curiosity needed to thrive in a technology-driven world. Across IDEA, more than 40 schools offer computer science courses, and during the 2025-2026 school year, 350 graduating students completed the Programming and Software Development pathway.

Their work goes beyond teaching code. They are helping students problem-solve, create, lead, and imagine future careers in computer science, cybersecurity, game design, software development, and beyond.

Thoroughly enjoying our time here in Delaware. IDEA Robindale Health Professions Tres Lagos IDEA Mays and IDEA San Benito CTE Biomedical Science teachers are learning how to edit genes using CRISPR Cas12a from cancer research scientists. I can't wait to see them take this skillset back to their classrooms encouraging the next generation of scientists.

IDEA Round Rock Tech scholars had an incredible experience competing at the Texas TSA State Conference! 🏅🏅🏅

In their first year of TSA, IDEA Round Round Tech scholars advanced to State and competed in Music Production, Forensic Science, Biotechnology, and Structural Design. 📹👨‍🔬🎶

They had a wonderful time exploring downtown Fort Worth and connecting with students from across Texas. We are incredibly proud of our scholars for stepping up to compete and advance to the State level. 👏👏👏

IDEA believes in providing CTE and CTSO opportunities for all students.
