Our agriculture engineering technology instructor Megan Lavy presented at last week’s MVATA conference in Springfield, showcasing our hands-on agricultural engineering curriculum. She showcased agriscience, agricultural mechanics, aquaculture and hydroponics, and how it prepares students for in-demand ag careers. With many Missouri high school ag teachers in attendance, we had a strong turnout and lots of interest in hydroponics as a classroom-to-career pathway.

We've wrapped up our adventure academies for this summer and we're sad to see all of our campers go, but we know you all had an amazing time! From building and launching rockets, to welding, to watching baby chicks hatch. This type of hands-on learning isn't something you get at every summer camp.
