We've got a few exciting events coming up this week, DBE families!! 💙🦝

Tomorrow 9/1, it's time to share a Popsicle with the Principals! Come on out to the school playground and get to know our new principal and assistant principal! Bring the kids and enjoy a cold treat or two! 🍦❤️

Wednesday 9/2, its our second Family Fundraiser Night of the year - this time, dinner is at Chipotle in Lake St. Louis from 4-8pm! Make sure to mention DBE for in person orders and use the online code in the flyer below for mobile orders! 🌮🌯

Wednesday is also our first PTO meeting of the school year! Come join us at 630pm in the DBE art room- we'd love to hear your ideas on how to make this school year the best one yet!! 😊

Please join us at Andy's Frozen Custard Wednesday 8/26 (tomorrow) and celebrate back to school week with some yummy treats! 🍦
Show them the flyer when ordering and they will donate back to the PTO! 💰

We also have another fundraiser night coming up next week on Wednesday 9/2 at Chipotle! These fundraiser nights are SO helpful in making improvements and fun things happen at our awesome school! See you there! 🌮🌯

It's the final countdown for our raccoons! 🦝 Only 21 days until our friends take over DBE again! 🎉 Our PTO superheroes are spilling the beans on last year's behind-the-scenes magic that made '25-'26 a blast for students and staff. Next up? A Book Vending machine! 📚 Can't wait to see you all soon! 💙💛🎒

Our first ever Ag Day was a hit! 🐴🌽

They learned about horses, bee keeping seedlings, butter making, farm equipment, lassoing and so much more to learn where our food comes from right here in our New Melle community!

The kids had a blast, so be ready to hear all the stories of their fun experiences and all the things they learned this afternoon! 🐄🚜

We're down to the final month of school grind, DBE Raccoons!! Let us take the "what's for dinner?" decision off your plate and join us for our school fundraiser night at Texas Roadhouse!! 🥩🥗

This Thursday 4/23 from 3pm-10pm, 10% of all food purchases will go back to supporting our school! Make sure you present this flyer upon purchase!! 💙🦝

Another BIG shout out to all the families who donated to our Penny Wars fundraiser this year!! 🙌

With a portion of your donations, we were able to make some really awesome purchases of the indoor recess carts and all the activities to fill them for those rainy and cold days that keep the kiddos inside! 🌧
We were able to stock up on several primary aged items and intermediate items, and we wouldn't have been able to do it without your help! 💙

Enjoy the video from our back to school assembly earlier this week, the kids were PUMPED about their hard earned extra recess and bragging rights!! 🏆

The overall total raised from Penny Wars this year was over $3,000!! Thank you SO much to all of our amazing families for helping to support our school!! 🦝💙
