Kathryn and Sarah can't wait to see you on September 24th for a great night learning all about herbs. We will be covering what varieties grow in our area, harvesting, utilizing, and storing herbs. This class will also discuss methods of dehydration. We will provide some light refreshments as well.

Come out and join us for our Update: Prionus Longhorned Beetle in Blueberries program on August 25, from 2-4PM here at the Rockingham County Ag Center at 525 NC Highway 65, Reidsville NC 27320.

You will be able to learn about some newer pests in NC affecting blueberry plant growth. NCSU Assistant Professor Lorena Lopez and her lab team will be there to explain about root borer, Prionus Longhorned Beetles.

This is intended for home gardeners and those growing blueberries on a larger scale to sell.

There will be pesticide credits as well. 2 hours N, O, D, and X.

Ask at your market’s welcome booth if they accept SNAP benefits. If they do, you should receive market scrip or tokens to use to purchase produce and other eligible food items.
