We offer kids class, womens only classes, fundamental jiu jitsu and competition training. Jiu jitsu has been called the "gentle art" or "human chess." It's a game, but also a self defense system that promotes self control. There is no striking in this martial art. Jiu jitsu is a fun way to build confidence and strength, and a full body workout that engages the mind. Many find that it is a great stress reliever. At War Horse, we pride ourselves on being a great team, treating each other with respect. Jiu jitsu is a lifestyle, not just a fight style.

This amazing human teaches kids jiu jitsu with endless patience, helps adults reach their goals, and somehow manages to keep us all laughing along the way. He’s the kind of person you can always count on - whether you need a training partner, a good laugh, or just someone who genuinely cares.
When he’s not on the mats, you’ll find him spoiling his dogs, perfecting his golf swing, or smashing a cheeseburger.
