Join us for a full day of summer fun with FREE admission all day long, thanks to the generous support of Highland Street Foundation ! The foundation works to strengthen Massachusetts communities and expand opportunities for children and families, including helping make cultural experiences more accessible.

Looking for even more adventure? 🎪 Tickets for our Carnival Obstacle Course will be available for purchase throughout the day! Come test your skills, tackle the obstacles, and make the most of one of the last Saturdays of summer.

Early Childhood Partners CFCE offers free parent/caregiver-child programs where you and your child can learn, play, and connect together. 💕

Together, you can:

📖 Build early literacy skills through stories, songs, rhymes, and play
🧠 Encourage curiosity and creativity as you explore and discover together
💬 Strengthen communication through conversations and shared activities
❤️ Deepen your connection through positive, joyful experiences
🌱 Support social-emotional development by practicing sharing, turn-taking, expressing feelings, and building confidence
🤝 Connect with other caregivers and build a sense of community
💛 Support your own well-being by making time to connect, enjoy your child, and feel encouraged by others

You don’t have to be a teacher or early childhood expert. Parent/caregiver-child programs offer simple, playful ways to support your child’s development - ideas you can easily take home and use every day!

Even if your child is already in preschool, these programs are still a wonderful way to support their learning and to be part of that learning experience with them. Preschool gives children valuable opportunities to learn and grow with teachers and peers. Parent/caregiver-child programs give caregivers and children the chance to learn side by side, building connection, confidence, and community along the way.

APPRECIATION POST!

We wanted to recognize and give a huge THANK YOU to our amazing librarians - Lorraine Der at the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library, Audrey Carmen at the Manchester-by-the-Sea Public Library, and April Wanner at the TOHP Burnham Public Library (Essex, MA)! 📚❤️

The fantastic Summer Reading Programs and all of the wonderful events offered at our Public Libraries this summer happened because of the incredible hard work, dedication, creativity, and heart that our librarians bring every single day. From planning engaging programs to creating welcoming spaces and making sure our community has opportunities to learn, read, connect, and have fun—they do it all! 🌞📖

We are so thankful and truly lucky to have such a dedicated group of librarians serving our communities. Thank you for making this summer so special! 💙

Regional Social Worker, Jessie Palm holds open office hours at the library every second and fourth Thursday of the month. All are welcome to seek support, information or resource referrals in a confidential setting. No appointment necessary.

Drop in on Thursdays, August 13 and 27, 11:00am-2:00pm to attend office hours in the large study room on the library's 2nd floor.
