Hi, I wanted to thank the people who follow me here for their support. After working for public schools for 10 years as a school counselor and college specialist I decided I wanted to stay home with my kids. It was a very difficult decision and I left a job I absolutely loved.

I started CCA because I still wanted to help teens and families through the college process. It was a fun balance- being home with my kids during the day and helping teens nights and weekends. 👦🏻👩🏼

But now with my kids in school and sports, those hours are tough. And, I miss public schools and being able to help more kids and families.

I spent this summer applying for jobs at schools within a half hour radius and some would have been long commutes on 128. 🚙

BUT, I was just hired at my dream job!!! I am working as a school counselor at Danvers High School- 10 minutes from my house! I’ve always loved that school and the families of Danvers. I feel so grateful. ❤️

Long story short- I’m closing my private counseling practice. I WILL continue working with the seniors I have currently. No worries about that! But I won’t be taking any more on.

Thank you for understanding and for your love and support as I jump into this new venture.

Happy submit season to my seniors! We are so busy and having fun while submitting those applications. Just a reminder that all services are hourly. No big packages! If you only need one meeting, that’s fine. I can help with essays, apps and more. And if you’re a junior looking to get started, let’s schedule a meeting. 🙂

I haven’t updated here in a while. I’ve been so busy with seniors this summer. Many have their applications and essays done, or close to done! It’s such a good feeling. Early Action and Early Decision deadlines will come quickly. Reach out if you need help. All services are hourly so just pick what you need. -Kristen

I haven’t updated this in a while. Sorry about that!

I’m currently meeting with many seniors and helping them wherever they are at in the process. Some are still identifying colleges that are a good match for them, some are filling out applications, and others are working on their essays.

The next few months will be busy as I help my students submit their applications. But I still have room for more seniors, and even some ambitious juniors. Let me know how I can help!

I’m meeting with clients over zoom, which seems easier for everyone.
