🚗 Carpool Reminder: Morning drop-off uses THREE drop-off lines behind the school. Please follow staff directions, pull forward, and remain in your lane to help keep traffic moving safely and efficiently.

⏰ Bell Schedule Reminder: For the first two weeks of school, all students should report to Advisory by 7:15 AM.

Good evening, Pirate Families, this is your principal, Melissa Hurst, calling to let you know that our Back-to-School Edition of “News from the Pirate Ship” is now live. You can find the link to this newsletter in your email, text, and social media.

🏴‍☠️ As we prepare for Day 1, please take a few minutes to review the newsletter for important back-to-school information and reminders.

⏰ Monday Arrival: Students who are approved for late arrival must report to school at 7:15 a.m. on Monday for attendance purposes. Please plan accordingly.

📅 Schedules: All students will report first to Advisory on Monday morning where they will receive their schedules. All students should follow their printed schedule until their counselor provides a new schedule.

📝 Schedule Changes: Students with a hole in their schedule should report to Student Services during the block where the hole occurs. All other students should complete the schedule change form and wait to be called.

👥 Class Meetings: All students should plan to attend their class meeting during the first week of school. Please check the newsletter for the meeting schedule and details.

📱 Stay Connected: The newsletter includes important information about all the things you will need for a successful first week of school.

🏴‍☠️💜💛 Friday Night Lights are BACK at CHHS! 💛💜🏴‍☠️

There’s just something about seeing our campus come alive on a Friday night! Tonight was our first taste of the excitement ahead for the 2026–27 school year—and our Pirates showed up! 🙌

🏈 Pirate Football hit the field for our preseason jamboree!
🎶 Pirate Band wrapped up Band Camp with a special Friends & Family performance!
⚽ Pirate Soccer took the field against our crosstown rival, Clayton!

Athletes. Musicians. Families. Friends. Pirates. 💜

Tonight was a reminder of what makes CHHS such a special place—the talent, energy and school pride our students bring to everything they do.

The lights are on. The Pirates are back. And a brand-new school year is just around the corner! 👀🏴‍☠️

Attention, Sophomores and Juniors! Now is the time to sign up for PSAT. Tenth graders should have completed Math 2 prior to taking the PSAT. For Juniors, the PSAT is the qualifying test for entry to the National Merit Scholarship competitions for college scholarships as well as great practice for the SAT.

Congratulations to Corinth Holders FFA on being named a National FFA 3-Star Chapter for the 8th consecutive year!

We are incredibly proud of our students, advisors, families, alumni, and community partners who continue to make CHHS FFA such an outstanding program.

⭐⭐⭐ 8th Year in a Row! ⭐⭐⭐

Get excited, we did it again! Corinth Holders is proud to be recognized as a National FFA 3-Star Chapter for the 8th consecutive year!

Reaching this level of success year after year doesn't happen without an entire community behind us! We are thankful for every FFA member, parent, community partner, supporter, and alumni member who has helped make our events, activities and opportunities possible.

The 3-star Chapter Award is the highest ranking a chapter can receive through the National FFA Chapter Award program, recognizing chapters that excel in growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Only 12 of the 370+ chapters in North Carolina received this honor.

As we begin this school year, we are committed to continuing to grow leaders, build our community and strengthen agriculture and we can't wait to see what this year brings!
