🌹 Como La Flor! 🌹

Yesterday, CCA Wendell Falls was in full bloom for Como La Flor / Tejano Tuesday as part of our Hispanic Heritage Month Spirit Week!

Our Cardinals filled the halls with flowers, bright colors, western wear, boots, and plenty of Tejano flair. 🌸🌺🤠 We loved seeing everyone get creative and join in as we continue celebrating Hispanic heritage and culture throughout the week!

Our Cardinals definitely understood the assignment. ❤️🌹

🌟 Latinos in Action! 🌟

Today, our Cardinals brought Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week to life by dressing as Hispanic heroes and role models who have made their mark on history, culture, science, music, art, and more!

We spotted some incredible figures walking our halls, including Simón Bolívar, Selena, Frida Kahlo, Ellen Ochoa, JLo, and many more! ❤️

We loved seeing our students celebrate the people who inspire them while learning about the amazing contributions of Hispanic and Latino leaders past and present.
