Is there a unique dessert your family has every year? A cute tradition? We want to try it! Let's celebrate all of our CHHS Staff by sharing our traditional, cultural, or favorite desserts. Bring on the cakes, cookies, flan, bread pudding, pie, etc.! Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!

We ask that all items be delivered to the front office between 7:30-11 am on 12/19/25.

Be sure to include a note with any allergen ingredients and/or recipe.

We will also need a couple volunteers to help us set up (10:45 am-11:15 am) and clean up that day (1:30-2 pm). Responsible students can earn volunteer hours (certificate provided when we return to school). In partnership with Johnston County Government and Johnston County Veterans Office, we are happy to invite all Johnston County veterans, their families, and the community to the 2025 Annual Veterans Day Celebration event tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11th!

The ceremony will be held in the Smithfield-Selma High School gymnasium. Attendees will be served a Thanksgiving-style meal in the cafeteria immediately following.

*Reminder* If you signed up to bring something for our 11th Annual Teacher & Staff Chili Day, please bring it in, by 10am, to the front office. Thank you so much for volunteering and sharing to make this happen! Any student volunteers will receive a volunteer certificate.

Did you know that we have had an annual Chili Day since 2014?! We apologize for the late notice. 🏴‍☠️

The CHHS PTSA would like to provide a chili / soup lunch to our teachers and staff on Monday, October 20, 2025 (staff workday). We ask that all items be delivered to the front office between 7:30-10 am on 10/20/25. If signing up to provide a pot of chili/soup, please bring this in a crock pot or another way to keep it warm, if possible. If not, that's okay! We will store and heat it up if you need to drop off early!

Be sure to include a note with any allergen ingredients and/or recipe. Please label all items (pot, lid, ladle) with your name/phone # for easy return!

We will also need a few volunteers to help us set up (10 am-12 pm) and clean up that day (12-2 pm). Please sign up below or email [email protected] if you can assist!
