First superpower unlocked: Steady. 🛡️
Today our students learned their Super Hero breath: breathe in like you're smelling a flower, breathe out like you're blowing out a candle.
It sounds simple, but it's how heroes stay calm and strong on the inside even when things feel out of control on the outside.
The big question they're carrying with them today: "Am I using my power, or is my power using me?"
Their leadership challenge is to use their Super Hero breath three times today and then teach it to someone at home tonight. So if your child grabs you after school and asks you to smell a flower and blow out a candle, you'll know why💛

Last nights winners to wrap the Apex Team in toilet paper was:

Tonight’s challenge is: The top team that shares their personalized Event Page the most using the "Share Wizard" technology via email, text, or Facebook by logging into www.myapexevent.com will get to pie the Apex Team!

The students and teachers were so happy to have the Apex team at our school today!
Now it’s officially time to START LOGGING THOSE BADGES! 🏆🔥

Tonight’s challenge is the Login Challenge; the class with the highest login % will get to wrap the Apex team in toilet paper tomorrow!

Let the competition begin! 💪

Tomorrow, every student in this building will begin their journey to unleash the superhero within!

Apex Super Heroes Pep Rally with Apex Leadership Co. - North Carolina is tomorrow, and it’s the start of two incredible weeks of leadership and fundraising.

After the rally, pledging opens up! Students will bring home a VIP Badge with their login info for myapexevent.com

Hero training starts tomorrow! Be Ready.🦸🦸‍♂️

Get Ready! Our Apex Remix Fundraiser is just around the corner, beginning August 17th!
Another year partnering with Apex Leadership Co. to teach our students strong leadership habits and boost their fitness!
Keep an eye out for the pledge packets coming home this week that will allow you to log pledges and support our school!

What a great time at our back to school picnic! We had lunch, fun, and sprinklers to stay cool! Big thank you to the Wendell Fire Department for bringing the fire truck for the kids to check out!
