Spaces are filling up for my first semester training for 2023.

I don’t have the dates locked in yet to remain flexible while the remaining spots fill up but we should get going no later than last week of March. Next semester starts February 6th for six weeks to cover each module for the given Microsoft certification. After the six weeks I’m still mentoring and encouraging students to take some practice tests and finally schedule their exam.
All courses are free. Contact me to sign up. Everything is free except for the exam only if you choose to take it for the certification at the end (not required). That standard $99 doesn’t go to me. Testing centers will charge for the certification exams. I charge my volunteer students nothing for this opportunity and I’m having a great time doing so. Quite honestly, working in IT doesn’t have the reward factor you would get being a doctor or being a social worker. At the end of the day I often feel like I haven’t really helped anyone, but I’ve done my job well and made another great paycheck. But who have I helped? What difference have I made in the world? Not much really. You can’t beat the pay but I need to help people too. So for now these courses are free, they’re always free through Microsoft but I’ve organized them in a way to help focus on the ones I believe new engineers need to get started.  Additionally, I host live, interactive classes with the students throughout the semester to cover other topics not in-scope for the certification but essential technology topics. There are a lot of other basics new engineers need to get started beyond the certifications.

No fee: Test market needing volunteers to learn about computers and security with little to zero experience. I’m training junior security engineer students now that are paying me nothing, ever. Eventually, I’ll need to charge something for my services if this idea takes off, but nothing now and definitely not ever for my volunteers. I’ve designed multiple 6 week programs to teach the fundamentals behind Microsoft certifications plus some live one hour online or in person classes to review some basics that every IT professional needs to know.
No guarantees that you’ll get a job in cybersecurity or pass the certification exams but I’ll share what you will need to study to give yourself the best chance. I believe a motivated person who would spend 2 hours a week with these materials and instruction could compete in this hot market after completing 2-3 of my 6 week courses. All free right now.
Even junior security engjneers make a great living plus it’s only up from there.
I’m approached by IT recruiters possibly 10 times a day looking for qualified candidates to hire in cybersecurity. I know what they are looking for.
Certification exams do cost around $99 from the testing center and if only you want to take the test.

Facebook thinks this idea is unrealistic. That y’all are incapable of learning new skills and changing careers apparently. My post asking to train for FREE volunteers so they might learn and pass some Microsoft certifications keeps getting denied. Excuse me, but this idea is very realistic and I’m already doing exactly that with 3 students and would like some more to teach. How is this being viewed badly? Can I not offer to help, tutor, share my knowledge after 30+ years working in IT? I don’t promise anything. It won’t be for everyone. many could benefit especially those who can’t afford technical schools or universities. Read my post, I’m not asking and will never ask my volunteer students for a penny $0.01

Welcome to Blue 2 White Collar Easy.
I’ve been developing this program in my dreams for many years and finally it’s formalized and running with my first 3 students who started in October 2022. Three ladies each with different backgrounds and very little computer system security, cloud, programming experience are already halfway through their first set of lessons and will be prepared to take their first Microsoft certification exams later this month in November.
