A little heat and smoke can't keep our GA Band down! Thanks to the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department for helping give band camp a memorable final day.

COOL FINISH TO SMOKIN' HOT BAND CAMP // A huge thank you to the Wenatchee Valley Fire Department for bringing a refreshing end to two weeks of hot and smoky band camp for the Wenatchee High School Golden Apple Marching Band!

Our students had a blast cooling off, and we’re grateful for community partners who help make memorable moments like this possible. Be sure to come watch them this season at a home game in the Apple Bowl.

🏅🇺🇸 Seven WHS students traveled to Washington, D.C. this summer to represent our school at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference! After months of hard work and preparation, these students competed against thousands of students from across the country.

Their hard work paid off with one Gold-level finish, one Silver-level finish, and a Top 10 national placement for Lauren Stahly! Lauren was recognized on the national stage for this incredible accomplishment.

Lauren Stahly competed in Professional Presentation, Virgil Bozarth, Hector Camacho & Melani Tovar competed in Event Management, and Isabella Garcia, Rosario Navarro Vega, & Marisol Nava Araujo competed in the Sustainability Challenge.

We are so proud of our FCCLA students for their dedication, hard work, and for representing Wenatchee High School at the national level.

WE are Wenatchee, and we are supporting our community with student-powered solutions. Last night, the Wenatchee High School Student Energy Managers presented to a group of Wenatchee Downtown building owners about student services available to help owners achieve compliance with the state's Clean Energy Standards and avoid costly fines. Working in partnership with Chelan PUD, the SEM team has aided local building owners, including WSD, in avoiding millions in potential fines and ultimately saving energy and money on utility costs. 🍎🐾 BACK TO SCHOOL // The 2026-27 school year is coming up fast! We're so excited to have Panthers back in the building next week. Join us for WHS' Back to School Day on Monday 8/24 to get everything you need for the year, including:

** The class of 2027 must attend a REQUIRED senior meeting on 8/24 at 10:30am, 1pm, or 5:30pm in the WHS auditorium. Seniors only need to attend ONE of these meetings 🎓

Freshman IGNITE is next Wednesday 8/26, and the first day of school for grades 10-12 is Thursday 8/27!

Not playing a fall sport but still want to be part of the action? Apply to be a student manager for WHS concessions this fall sports season!

🏈 Be on site for athletic events to support the volunteer teams running the concession stand at football, volleyball, and girls soccer games.
🐾 Attend weekly manager meetings to cover inventory, problem solve, etc.
❗️This position will be approximately 10 hours per week. You must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Congratulations to Wenatchee High School sophomore Bella Brown🌟

Bella has been nominated as a Delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders — an honors-only national program recognizing top students pursuing careers in medicine and medical research.

Her nomination was signed by Nobel Prize winner Dr. Mario Capecchi, recognizing her academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to serving humanity. This is what unlimited potential looks like!

🚑 💼 Three Panthers with WHS HOSA attended their National Leadership Conference in Indianapolis last week, where they advanced to the second round of the Medical Reserve Corp competition and attended several healthcare workshops.

These ladies partnered with the Chelan/Douglas MRC and devoted over 300 volunteer hours to the project, preparing a portfolio highlighting partnership activities that improve public health, increasing emergency response capabilities, and strengthening the resiliency of local communities.

Help us congratulate Sloane Eppich-Talbot, Saveana Hoffman, and Vivian Wallace on their achievements this year!

DIPLOMA PICKUP INFO // Attention 2026 Graduates! Your Wenatchee High School diplomas will be ready for pickup NEXT WEEK in the WHS main office.

🎓 General Diploma Pickup: Monday 6/22 - Friday 6/26, 9am-3pm
🎓 Running Start Diploma Pickup: Thursday 6/25 - Friday 6/26, 9am-3pm

Parents or guardians must show ID when picking up a diploma for their student. Remember: all fines and fees must be paid in full before your diploma can be released.
