Gentleness in action! 🐾💛

Today, our Kindergarten class had an extra-special visitor, Wally! Wally is a 3-month-old Cavapoo puppy who came to school to help our students learn more about our character trait of the month: gentleness.

Our kindergarteners practiced using gentle voices and gentle touches while spending time with Wally. 🐶 They had so much fun learning that gentleness can be shown in the way we speak, the way we treat others, and even the way we care for our pets!

This was such a fun and memorable way to practice being gentle!

🏕️ Bible Camp 2026! 💙

Last week, our high school students headed to Washington Family Ranch in Antelope, Oregon, for Bible Camp! They packed the week with fun, adventure, laughter, and lots of time together.

But some of the most meaningful moments happened during worship and the daily messages. This year’s messages focused on the theme “Offenses Build Fences,” encouraging students to think about how we respond when we are hurt or frustrated by others and how healthy communication, forgiveness, and working through difficulties can strengthen our relationships.

Our students also spent time together in worship each day, gathered for Sabbath service, and celebrated baptisms. ✝️💙

Bible Camp is always a special time where students make lasting memories, strengthen friendships, grow in their faith, and experience the impact of spending intentional time with Jesus and one another. We are so thankful for the memories made and the ways God worked throughout the week!

🍎🌳 Celebrating Johnny Appleseed! 🌳🍎

Our kindergarten and first grade classes had so much fun celebrating Johnny Appleseed and his birthday today! They’ve been learning all about him in class and got to put their learning into action with some fun activities.

From painting apples and making Johnny Appleseed hats to enjoying yummy apple-inspired treats, it was a fun day of learning, creativity, and, of course, lots of apples! 🍎🎨

We love to see our kids learning through hands-on experiences and making sweet memories together! ❤️

🌟 August & September Character Trait of the Month: Compassion 🌟

This month, we are proud to recognize students who have demonstrated compassion by showing kindness, empathy, and care for those around them.

Each of these students was carefully selected by their teacher for consistently looking out for others, showing kindness, and making a positive difference in the lives of those around them. Their thoughtful actions and caring hearts are a wonderful example of compassion in action!

🌲🔬 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🔬🌲

Our freshmen and sophomores had a great week on their Biology Trip! They explored so many incredible places across the Pacific Northwest, including the Leavenworth Creation Museum, Snoqualmie Falls, Green River, Tacoma Narrows Park, Quilcene National Fish Hatchery, the Ape Caves, and more!

From hiking and exploring to touring, worshiping, learning, and journaling along the way, it was a week full of adventure, discovery, and memories! 🌿🥾📖

A big THANK YOU to Mr. Rich and Mrs. Reese for leading our students on such a fun and memorable week! We’re so grateful for the opportunity for our students to learn, grow, and experience God’s creation firsthand. ❤️

🚌 Jr./Sr. Leadership Trip! 🎓

Our juniors and seniors have been making the most of their Leadership Trip Week in the Spokane area! From college tours and career exploration to leadership training and hands-on experiences, our students have had an incredible opportunity to learn, grow, and explore what’s ahead.

This week’s experiences included:
✨ Touring Eastern Washington University and Gonzaga University
✨ Visiting Spokane Teaching Health Clinic and meeting healthcare providers
✨ Leadership challenges and training at Camp Mivoden
✨ Touring Buck Knives and Mackay Manufacturing
✨ Exploring Spokane’s Riverfront Park and enjoying the Spokane gondola
✨ Building community through meals, disc golf, and time together

We’re so thankful for the businesses, universities, and organizations who welcomed our students and helped make this week such a meaningful experience! A special thank you to Ms. Quaile and Mr. Barber for chaperoning and helping make this trip such a great experience! We appreciate you! 🙌
