Welcoming Mac Riggan to the WAEF Board

We're proud to welcome Mac Riggan, Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Chelan Fresh, to the WAEF Board of Directors.

Mac grew up in and around his family's cherry orchard and has spent his career in Washington's tree fruit industry. Having worked his way through college, he understands firsthand how financial challenges can shape a student's educational experience and future opportunities.

"As I learned more about WAEF, I was struck by how much of a difference even a small amount of support can make in a student's life," Mac shared.
Mac also brings a strong appreciation for mentorship, shaped by leaders who invested in his growth early in his career. Today, he is passionate about helping develop the next generation of professionals and community leaders.

Please join us in welcoming Brandon Flory to the WAEF Board of Directors!

Brandon serves as CFO of Gilbert Orchards and Sundquist Fruit and brings a strong background in accounting and agriculture. Raised in the Naches area, he understands firsthand the value of opportunity and the role education plays in opening doors.

He’s passionate about helping students access scholarships and exploring pathways beyond traditional college, including trade schools and is excited to support WAEF students as they pursue their goals.

We’re excited to welcome Jenny Faletto to the WAEF Board of Directors!

A lifelong member of Washington’s tree fruit community, Jenny began her journey packing apples as a student and has built a 20+ year career in finance, now serving as CFO at Auvil Fruit. Her connection to the industry and to the students WAEF serves runs deep, and she is passionate about supporting the next generation.

Jenny brings both heart and expertise to her role, and we’re grateful for her commitment to our students and mission.

Welcoming Greg Koch to the WAEF Board

We're pleased to welcome Greg Koch, CFO of Olympic Fruit, to the WAEF Board of Directors.

Raised in the Yakima Valley, Greg grew up in Washington's tree fruit industry and has spent much of his career helping support its success. His passion for education comes from personal experience and a belief that learning creates opportunities, strengthens communities, and helps individuals reach their potential.

Over the years, Greg has seen firsthand the impact WAEF scholarships have on students and their families. That experience inspired him to become more involved and help support the next generation.
