When selling or purchasing chicken from our members, remember that the portion size is smaller thus the cheaper price. Thank you for supporting our chapter!!

We have taken a great recipe and made it better. This year, when groups are taking orders for their Blue & Gold Sausage fundraiser, be sure to check out the revamped Chicken Tenders. They are now delivered fully cooked in a 2 1/2-pound package, instead of 5 pounds. Remember the pound change when placing your order. Easy for kiddos to throw in the air fryer as a convenient after-school snack.

Our Wellston FFA Chapter Officers wrapped up an incredible Officer Retreat a few days ago!

During these two days, these students worked together to strengthen their leadership skills, build teamwork, set goals for the upcoming year, and plan for a successful year.

We were fortunate to have two outstanding guest speakers join us. Former Oklahoma FFA President Cooper Kline challenged our officers to embrace the mindset of "We Before Me," reminding us that true leadership is about putting the team and those we serve ahead of ourselves. We also welcomed current Oklahoma FFA Secretary Kaden Pliler who encouraged our officers to be intentional about noticing the people and world around them. He shared that while each of us brings unique strengths and perspectives, those differences are what make a team stronger when we work together. A huge thank you to both of our speakers for investing in our officers and helping prepare them to lead! We can't wait to see the impact these students make throughout the year!!!

Wellston FFA members had a great week competing at the NOC sheep field day Monday and the OSU Big 3 Field Day’s in Stillwater Tuesday through Thursday. We were presented our awards from the OSU Cattleman’s Choice contest where we finished eighth against some very competitive teams across the nation last school year. Congratulations to every member of last years Animal Science class for your hard work interpreting information and analyzing the data on the bulls each month! Yesterday, the students got to listen to Wyatt Flores talk reasons on a cattle class then enjoyed a leadership presentation from 2025-26 State FFA President Cooper Kline and finished off the day with a concert from Depew FFA member Tyse Buck and his amazing band! Excellent week and an amazing group of students to work with!!

Wellston senior FFA member Rowan Shelton just wrapped up attending session three of the Oklahoma FFA Alumni Leadership Camp held at the beautiful and recently renovated Camp Tulakogee near Wagoner Oklahoma. Rowan was honored to be selected as one of the flag raising team members for the final session this morning. Congratulations Rowan, and thank you for representing Wellston FFA, our school and community with class, dignity and professionalism this week!
