We had a great Professional Day of Development yesterday!

Our teachers were all caught up in webs of learning as they participated in teambuilding activities and dove deeper into topics that supported high-quality early education.

Between the laughter, collaboration, and a few flying spiders, our team strengthen their knowledge while having a little Halloween fun along the way.

Changing Tides by Julia Moscardo

Families are welcome to explore this Ocean Treasures activity, in our front lobby during drop-off and pick-up. Children and families will have an opportunity to discover shells, coconut pieces, and other ocean themed items that spark curiosity, observation, and conversation. It's easy to look at this beautiful photo and see the special connection between a teacher and child, but it's so much more than that. As this little one responded with excitement and curiosity, their teacher followed their lead, creating a playful serve-and-return interaction that helps build communication, build confidence, and trust.

These back-and-forth moments may seem simple, but they are powerful opportunities for learning, relationship-building, and joyful discovery.

The best teachers know that children learn best through play and meaningful, hands-on experiences.

While learning about the letter P and practicing its sound, our K-Prep students brainstormed words that began with the letter. When many of the children excitedly shared their love of pizza, their teacher turned that interest into a learning opportunity by transforming the dramatic play area into a pizzeria, complete with a pretend wood-fired pizza oven!

The children had a blast taking orders, making pizzas, and serving their customers while strengthening language, literacy, social-emotional, and problem-solving skills. Experiences like these show the power of following children's interests and making learning both meaningful and fun.

Our preschool scientists are exploring air and discovering how something we can’t see can do amazing things!

Children will discover:
How air help airplanes fly
How air forces help parachutes float gently to the ground
How air can push and pull objects
How air movement creates motion all around us

Through hands-on investigations, children will experiment with balls, paper, and even their own breath to observe how air moves and affects the world around them.

We are celebrating Grandparents Day on Friday, September 11th.

Grandparents are welcome to stop by our art studio anytime between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM to spend a little quality time together with their grandchild.
Together, they will have an opportunity to enjoy:
A special snack
A card making station
A craft station
Read a book together
And a photo opt

Feel free to stop by anytime during the day to celebrate a special grandparent.

We are excited to celebrate with you and look forward to welcoming all of our wonderful grandparent!

Three of her four children - and later, her grandson - attended our on-site center for PSECU employees. She fondly remembers the meaningful connections each teacher built with her family and how the curriculum prepared them for kindergarten and beyond.

What began as convenience turned into a support system - the teachers helped Henry hit important milestones and grow with confidence while giving Kaylee the reassurance and encouragement she needed as a new mom.
