Starpoint Dancesport — Your New Dance Home. ✨

Lindy Hop is one of those dances that feels just as good to learn as it is to watch. Born in the Harlem ballroom scene of the late 1920s and 1930s, Lindy Hop grew out of the incredible social dance culture of New York City — blending elements of Charleston, jazz, tap, and other swing-era dances.

It became known for its rhythmic footwork, improvisation, playful partner connection, and freedom to express the music. And at the heart of it all was the idea of social dancing: getting together, listening to the band, and having a good time.

We’re bringing that spirit to Starpoint DanceSport with Lindy Hop Bootcamp 5.0.

Whether you’ve never tried it before or you’ve got some experience under your belt, come spend four Saturdays learning the foundations, exploring the music, and getting comfortable on the floor.

If you’ve been wanting to try something different, come hang out with us on Tuesdays! Our beginner classes are super relaxed, easy to follow, and a great way to meet new people while learning something fun.

And don’t stress about getting everything right away that’s what the socials are for! We stick around after class every Tuesday to dance, practice, and just have a good time. Plus, we have a bigger West Coast Swing social every last Saturday of the month, so there’s always another chance to get out and dance. Hope to see you there! 😄
