There is something deeply beautiful and sacred about the mitzvah of women separating challah. In the quiet moment of kneading dough, everyday life is elevated into something holy, connecting generations of Jewish women from our foremothers to today. A time to pause, bring intention into the home, and invite blessing and abundance. As the challah is separated and a prayer is whispered, even the simplest act becomes filled with holiness, meaning, and light.
