Our musical notes are going up, and we LOVE seeing this project come together! ❤️🤍

Families, alumni, community members and local businesses can purchase a personalized musical note and become a permanent part of our Band Booster concession stand.

🎵 Single Line Note — $35
🎵 Double Line Note — $40
🎵 12 characters per line
🎵 12” x 12” musical note

Put your family name, student’s name, graduation year, business name or short message on a note and help us continue filling the concession stand with the names of the people who support our band!

Sorry for the language but, he tries the band donuts at the 6 minute mark and his reaction is fantastic. 😆 It's exactly what we strive for every year. Plus, it's awesome that he tries truly local food places. Our 60th anniversary was in 2024 but we weren't able to celebrate. In 2029 it'll be our 60th anniversary in the building that was built just for us where our tent use to be. We hope to have some fun little things planned. 62 years and counting!

🍩 DONUT BOOTH REMINDERS 🍩

It’s officially Donut Booth time! Before coming in for your shift, please remember:

👕 What to Wear

* Hair MUST be pulled back at all times.
* A hat or hair net is required. Hair nets are available at the booth, or you may wear your own hat.
* No open-toed shoes. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes.
* No shorts or tank tops.- shorts have to be school appropriate
* Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty — and remember, it does get HOT in the booth!
* No loose jewelry.

🧼 While Working

* Aprons and gloves will be provided.
* Wash your hands often and anytime you change tasks, return from a break, etc.
* NO CELL PHONES while working. Please keep phones put away during your entire shift.

✍️ SIGN IN
Please make sure you sign in when you arrive for your shift. This is important so we have an accurate record of everyone who worked.

🍩🎺 ATTENTION BAND FAMILIES… we’re sounding the alarm!

Our Wellington Marching Dukes are ready to bring the music… but our Donut Booth still needs a few more helping hands! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

We have 8 amazing seniors — Kyle, McKenzie, Trayce, Bella, Amelia, Bob, Blake & Ash —getting ready for their final season with the Marching Dukes. ❤️🎶 Let’s help make their last Lorain County Fair Donut Booth a great one!

We’ve made HUGE progress filling our volunteer schedule, but there are still shifts that need some love — especially a few of those **evening and weekend shifts.** 👀

🍩 No musical talent required.
🍩 Powdered sugar is basically guaranteed.
🍩 Fun people included.
🍩 And you’ll be supporting some pretty awesome kids!

We have had several caring people contact us about doing something for and or with Oberlin's marching band. We wanted to let everyone know that Mr. Pope has been in contact with their band director and something is in the works. Thank you to all who have reached out. We feel for all the Oberlin kids and we're so glad the football players will still have a season, even if it is different, and it sounds like the marching band will as well. If what we heard was true, they may be playing during halftime of the Oberlin College games? Whatever happens, we hope the kids will still have an enjoyable fall season! Go Phoenix!

Section Leader Soaking! Band camp ended with Hawaiian Day and "rain". Thank you to everyone who made this week possible, especially Mr. Pope, our visiting college students that provided so much help, our awesome band parents and a big welcome to Mr. Deitrich! More to follow. SEE YOU AT THE FAIR!!!
