🤔 This could be a fun activity, but it's not helping to develop literacy skills.

So what should word scrambles/unscrambles look like, and why is it important?

💡 For word scrambles or unscrambles to be effective, they need to include the correct use of graphemes. Use digraphs and trigraphs rather than just displaying the letters.

😃 When we use them correctly (like we do in the Spelling Shed scheme), they can develop orthographic knowledge and assist children in thinking about morphemes.
