Thought I would take a minute to reintroduce myself:
I am Brad Ledbetter, my wife Debbie and I have been Mayfield residents for 16+ years and have raised three Wellington alumni. One of those alumni now proudly serves as a teacher in Wellington. We also have grandchildren attending several Wellington schools.

I have been a district employee at USD 259 for over 20 years and am very enthusiastic about bringing my experience to the Wellington School Board. I have also served as a pastor and board member at the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church for the last 16+ years, and have a heart to serve our community.

On November 7th, 2023, Brad Ledbetter would appreciate your vote for USD 353 Wellington School Board!

Along with the superintendent, the school board works to ensure the school has all of its resources to serve its students effectively. School systems are complex and can be a challenge to govern. The school board exists to oversee the school system's activities and to have the best possible experience and outcome for their education. The school board also exists to establish important policies and make sure they are correctly implemented.

🍎What are the essential responsibilities of board members?

1. Serve as leaders and representatives of the community and as advocates for students and the school district.

2. Demand transparency and truth.

3. Share and defend your views, but also listen to the opinions of others.

4. Do your homework and ask tough questions.

5. Keep learning.
