​Angel Wings Learning Center provides care for children between the ages of two-weeks and 12 years old. We believe that children learn most effectively through play. Though play is emphasized, our staff's weekly lesson plans are aimed towards developing emotional, social, literacy, fine/large motor, and cognitive skills. Our staff encourages the idea that "Learning is FUN!" by teaching through song and dance.

Job description

Angel Wings Learning Center, LLC is looking for entry level, trainable, or experienced, reliable teachers to lead and instruct our little angels. Candidate will be responsible for developing, organizing, and implementing an educational program for an assigned age group.

Responsibilities:

Develop age appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
Plan, Prepare, and implement daily activities both indoors and outdoors
Interact daily with children, providing a positive environment and encouraging their involvement in activities
Model positive adult/child behavior with children, parents, and staff.'
Assist in preparation of nutritious meals that comply with the KDHE meal patterns
Provide appropriate diapering, toilet training, and bathroom supervision.
Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned
Attendance and the ability to be punctual are essential to this position. Candidate must be must provide multiple references

Qualifications:

Must be willing to complete KDHE required training within 30 days
Must complete health assessment and TB test
Must complete background check
Must have high school diploma or equivalent to be a lead teacher
