Welcome to Joyful Kitchen! The place for cooking, learning, feasting and sharing the love of food. All classes are by reservation only.

We are a boutique cooking school dedicated to bringing joy into every kitchen. Our cooking school is dedicated to helping you find your food happiness. Whether it is taking a culinary journey around the globe; creating a repertoire of simple, fast, and healthful dishes; or introducing you to new flavors and culinary delights… our kitchen will help you find your joy of food. Join us to:

Small group classes are taught by both demonstration and hands-on participation. During class, each participant will receive recipe printouts, shopping lists and plenty to eat. Private and semi-private classes are available. Together we will make your kitchen a joyful place to create food memories.

LET THE SEASON LEAD 🍂

Seasonality has always been my inspiration in the kitchen—a creative spark, a guide to the freshest, peak-flavor ingredients, and a way to cook with greater connection to the world around us.

Our Fall 2026 cooking classes are now open for registration! This season, we’ll explore seasonal cooking from the farmers market to the regional kitchens of Italy, with stops in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, plus the comforting magic of pasta.

A night to remember. ✨

One of the great joys of traveling through France is discovering that the most magical meals sometimes happen right at home. Our dreamy Provençal kitchen became the setting for an unforgettable dinner, lovingly prepared by Chef Fabien Bongiorno. Merci, Chef! 🇫🇷❤️

Our feast began with lightly broiled cœur de bœuf tomatoes draped over fresh burrata, followed by roasted za’atar lamb chops, ratatouille bursting with summer vegetables, and silky mashed potatoes studded with black olives.

And then came dessert: profiteroles filled with vanilla ice cream, topped with warm chocolate sauce and toasted almonds. Pure happiness.

Add a few beautiful bottles of French w**e, good friends around the table, and the golden light of a summer evening in Provence, and you have the recipe for a perfect night.

Some meals feed you. Others become memories. 🥂✨

This gastronomy & w**e program in Antibes has completely exceeded expectations. We had a pastry lesson with Cheffe Sophie Poncet, formerly of Alain Ducasse’s 3 Michelin star Le Louis XV in Monaco, and learned to make a classic Fraisier at peak strawberry season. Feeling very lucky (and happy to satisfy my sweet tooth)🍓🇫🇷

Fabulous day in Cannes for sea, sun, cinema and the best people watching on the planet. Strolled along la Croisette, the promenade between the sparkling Mediterranean and the city, leading right to the red carpet. Fortuitous timing to be here during the 79th Cannes Film Festival 🎥🎬

Sheet Pan Sensations
We let the oven do the hard work with these one pan recipes, with minimal prep and minimal washing up. Our classes cooked up a storm with these super-satisfying dishes, packed with flavor & couldn’t be easier to throw together.

A few days at Greyfield Inn feels like stepping into another world ✨
Accessible only by boat, this grand, storied home sits on wild, protected Cumberland Island—where over half the island is preserved wilderness and the pace of life softens the moment you arrive.
Think: miles of trails beneath sweeping live oaks and tall pines, salt marshes shimmering at golden hour, wild horses wandering freely, armadillos rustling in the brush, and beaches so wide and empty they feel entirely your own. The shell collecting alone is worth the journey.
And then… the table. Generous, beautifully prepared meals. A kitchen garden overflowing. Fine w**es and a throwback “honest John” cocktail bar. All-you-can-eat oyster roasts on the patio. Picnic basket lunches to grab and go by bike or foot.
It is gracious. It is delicious. It is deeply restorative.
A natural—and national—treasure I will be dreaming about for a long time. 🌿🦪🍷
