Visiting Scholar Stephanie Block, Ph.D., recently visited WCW, where she gave the presentation, "Finding justice: Research on coordinated responses to child s*xual abuse cases.” Stephanie’s research focuses on child maltreatment and draws on her training in developmental and applied science, as well as public health. Her recent National Institute of Justice-funded work with Senior Research Scientist Linda M. Williams, Ph.D., investigates prosecutorial and multidisciplinary teams’ decisions in cases of child s*xual abuse and the role of non-offending caregivers in supporting their children.
