One week until our first public night of the year! Please join us next Friday evening, September 18th, for our first public night of the semester at Whitin Observatory! The topic of this event will be "The Roman Empire of the Cosmos" and will run from 8pm to 10pm. Observing opportunities with our telescopes will be available if the skies are clear! We will have presentations throughout the night on NASA's new Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope and one of its many research applications, as well as hands on demonstrations for all ages.

The event is free and open to the public, no registration required; see https://www.wellesley.edu/whitin-observatory for parking info.
