SPLC put me on their “hate watch list” in 2012. In 2014, they invented a group, put my name on it so they could put me on their “hate watch list” twice.
For over 14 years I have watched cities and organizations refuse to allow their venues to be used for my Constitution and History classes BECAUSE of SPLC.
Eventbright even sent organizers if my teaching events a threat that if my name was on the venue they would cancel the service.

There are many people like me, who started long before the big names Americans see now, who were discriminated against because of this group.
Now the world is finding out what we knew 14 year ago.

Today I visited to both the Jane Austin and Mary Shelley museums. They are just doors away from each other on the same street.
So interesting to see the two of their lives juxtaposed.

Both ladies were pioneers.
Both ladies were encouraged by their fathers and their families to read study and write.
Both women were absolutely brilliant.

Jane grew up in a Christian home and wrote prolifically and lived a very happy life.
Jane the daughter of a minister, surrounded by a fine, loving family. Sister of 2 Naval commanders, a publisher and merchants. Jane wrote Pride & Prejudice, Persuasion etc.

Mary grew up in an anarchist atheist home, her father was a “disgruntled minister” who lost his faith due to his anarchistic philosophies. Mary was miserable, suffering many bouts of deep depression and was surrounded by su***de in her family and friends. She was a promiscuous, drug user married to a revolutionary anarchist in a polygamous relationship, lost 3 children, a husband to drowning. Mary wrote Frankenstein’s monster, was obsessed with evil spirits and reanimating the dead.

Senate looks to close an immigration loophole that should not exist.
Congress MUST fix this problem- their law is the source of the problem.
Contrary to political rhetoric, the courts didn’t create the loophole, they exposed it.
We should not be forced to keep illegals when their own country won’t accept them.

Finals Next Week! From professor to student. What a journey! I always said to my students if you ever have a teacher who is not willing to learn, leave. Good teachers never stop learning and bad teachers think they know it all and can’t be questioned.
I have a professor here that has been teaching at Oxford for 52 years. He even has his face on a gargoyle on the college roof. He is the most humble and amazing man I have ever met in academia. I want to be like that when I grow up!!
