What a way to kick off a new school year!

Sunday brought our staff together at church for a special commissioning as we prayed over the year ahead. Then Monday brought the first day of school, our first chapel, and the installation of Pastor Maxx Fisher as our new school pastor!

It was a pretty special start to the year, and we’re just getting started. 🙌

This year, we’re praying “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” and looking forward to all God will do as we Build Your Kingdom Here at Messiah.

And if these sweet chapel moments are any indication, we think it’s going to be a pretty great year. 💜

August 16, 2026, is a day we’ll all remember! Our church and school broke ground on our building expansion, the culmination of years of hard work and big dreams. Our church's All-Youth, 6th-12th Grade party is August 19, 6:00-8:00PM at 370 Lakeside Park. We've rented a pavilion by the water, featuring games, boat rentals, and food. And this year, wear white to close the evening with a color war!
