Wow! The last day of school brings us one more E7018 certified welder! Great job! Now that’s dedication!

Reminder for those who will be taking the cosmetology/nail program next school year: we need your registration form turned in no later than Wednesday so we can get those sent in and be ready to start next school year. If you have any questions, please call school tomorrow!

Tomorrow we have a couple activities going on.

We will be conducting an emergency drill first thing in the morning as part of our commitment to prioritizing safety at the CTC. We will be practicing an evacuation and reunification with some of our students in coordination with the Sheriff’s office and 911. Once our drill is over, we will be having a cookout for any junior or senior student wanting to attend around 10:30. We hope students will join us tomorrow. Students riding the bus will return to their home schools on the bus.

A couple pics from today!

We are asking all of our junior and senior program completers to be at the armory by 8:45 in the morning if possible. Dress clothes unless your instructor said otherwise. No cap or gowns.

Tomorrow all students will ride the CTC bus to and from the Armory for our completer ceremony unless other transportation has been arranged from the guardians. If you do not want your child to attend this ceremony please send a note tomorrow. If you have any questions call the school. Thanks!

Completer Ceremony will be held June 2, 2026, at 9:15am in the Welch Armory. Those participating will be Juniors in Tourism and Prostart/Culinary and all Seniors in Welding, Baking, Grow Your Own, Health Science, Nail Technology, Tourism, Automotive, and Computer Programming.

SRMS students enjoyed spending the entire day with us at the CTC. They toured the programs and then selected an activity or two to participate in program specific. I do believe we have some future welders, mechanics, nurses, teachers, nail tech ladies, computer programmers, cooks, and business developers!

Congratulations to Ms. Christy Hunt for representing the CTC as Teacher of the Year. She will also take on a new part of her job of working with the CTC students and staff. We are excited for what’s to come for our school.

Congratulations to Mrs. Rose Cyphers for representing our CTC as Service Personnel of the Year. Mrs. Cyphers will be moving on up in her career working as the Secretary for the Exceptional Learning Department at the BOE. We are proud of you, but you definitely will be missed. We are proud of both these ladies accomplishments.
