Clean Hydrocarbon Energy and Recycling Plants

I am an Independent, not a party "herd animal". The day I vote is the day I commit, not until then. I dislike Both the Hard Left and Hard Right Extremists, which put their party interests over running the government. Our government was based on finding Common Grounds for Negotiation and Compromise, NOT Blocking. To this end I say concentrate on electing MODERATEs of whatever party you affiliate with, double-so if like me you are registered Independent.

When all is said and done, realize that your vote DOES count, and whomever becomes our next president will be determined by the delegates our states send to the electoral college, who in turn will be voting according the their state's popular vote. (Yes, I like the electoral college because it gives each state's concerns a proportional weight similar to the House of Representatives. Otherwise candidates would just concentrate on the high-density areas of our country, ignoring the rest of us.) Remember, if you don't vote you have no right to complain! If in doubt make a judgement call and vote for "the lesser of two evils" but in this environment apathy and complacency is not an option. Don't sit around expecting someone else to come and save your a-double-esses.

THIS HAS BECOME EVEN MORE RELEVANT with the recent assassination attempt by a stupid 20 year old kid on Trump and the inflammatory comments used by both parties to rile emotional instead of intellectual responses! Maybe the parents should sue both campaigns? Inflammatory rhetoric on BOTH sides are to blame. Turn the heat down! Instead of stupid labels like "crooked so-and-so" or "lying so-and-so" be more statesman like by substituting "my political opponent so-and-so". I heartily endorse the actions of House Speaker Mike Johnson to bring vital spending bills to the House floor for deliberation and voting instead of letting congressmen hide behind their parties' ideals by blocking any actions. Mike is doing his job, whether the extremists of his party like it or not! Pay attention to which bills your Representatives vote FOR and which they vote AGAINST, then you will be able to judge them for re-election.

When investing have a long-term perspective when you invest and believe in what you invest in. That is, refrain from investing funds that you are unwilling park for a long period (two or four years+) or are unwilling to lose if the venture invested in goes south.

Yes, do your fundamental analysis, bur realize that even the best fundamentally sound concepts can go south or fail in the event of bad management decisions or changes in the investment climate.

Too many investors react like "herd animals", especially technical traders, quick to jump in on a hot tip, just as quick to jump out on bad news. Unfortunately computer driven algorithms can magnify this.

The Tin Mill in Weirton going idle in Weirton with the layoff of 900 may mean it is time again to look at alternatives, like reviving the Clean Hydrocarbon Energy and Recovery Plant idea I tried to get here back in 2012:
