It’s teacher appreciation week 💕 We have some of the BEST here at St. Joseph’s 😊 BIG thank you to the important work you do here! Kelsey, Jodi, Mackenzie, Alissa, Ryan, Makayla, Rebecca, Angelina, Gabby, Julia, Ella and our newest teacher, Tasha.

from our little nature lovers to you, happy earth day! 🌎💚 today we’re celebrating the beautiful world around us & reminding our kiddos that even the smallest hands can make a big difference 🌱 from the tiniest learners to our big kids, we’re growing kind hearts, curious minds, & a love for taking care of our earth every single day ♡ teaching them to be gentle, to explore, & to appreciate the little things is what it’s all about 🌿✨

🌎Since Earth Day is later this week, we got a little messy and our 3 year olds planted flowers together! 💐They had so much fun learning how to take care of our Earth, one tiny seed at a time! 🌱Over the next few days, we’ll be decorating our pots & watching our flowers grow! It’s such a fun way to learn patience, responsibility, and love for nature (and let’s be honest… playing in the dirt was definitely a highlight 😆)

Our three-year-olds had the best time celebrating Easter today! ✝️🐣Because of the rainy weather, we brought the fun inside and held our very own indoor Easter egg hunt, and the excitement was just as big as ever! The children were thrilled to discover that the Easter Bunny stopped by and left them bunny ears, eggs, candy, and adorable Easter baskets! 🩵We also spent time decorating our own Easter eggs & enjoyed coloring our giant easter activity sheet! 🖍️🎨It was such a fun-filled day for our kids & we hope all our families have a happy & blessed easter!

We ended career week with a SWEET surprise! 🍰🧁Miss Mackenzie’s momma came in & helped the children make their very own cake pops! They loved crushing, rolling, decorating & of course eating their creation! The three year olds made some chef hats & were very proud that they made it all themselves!! 🧑‍🍳🧁

Today’s special guest: a pharmacy tech! 💊👩‍⚕️ The kids had so much fun learning about how they help people stay healthy. We talked about medicine safety like only taking medicine from a trusted grown-up and that medicine is not candy! She brought in some coloring sheets for our kiddos & got to hear us sing & dance to some of our favorite songs!

I think it’s safe to say we have some future police officers at the dayschool! 👮🚔 Big big big thank you to the weirton pd for coming out & giving our kids the best experience ever! The kids had a blast watching K-9 Kilo in action, pressing all the buttons in the police car, and all the goodies you brought! The kids even went home with their very own police badges! We can’t thank our community and parents enough for participating in career week! 🚨🚓
