🦋✨ We worked "9 to 5" (and then some!) celebrating Dolly Parton Day today! ✨🦋Our students and staff had the absolute best time honoring Dolly's incredible legacy of music, kindness, and literacy for 9-25 Day!

🎶📚 Here is a peek at how our school shined today:🏃‍♂️ Morning Mile: We kicked off the day strutting and running to a playlist of Dolly’s greatest hits!
🦋 Creativity Corner: Our hallways are looking extra bright thanks to a gorgeous student-made butterfly wall.
📖 Dolly-Style Reading: We set aside special time to dive into our favorite books and dream big.
❤️ Giving Back: In true Dolly fashion, our amazing community came together to collect books for charity, helping spread the joy of reading to other kids!

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and brought a little extra sparkle to our school today. As Dolly said, "If you see someone without a smile, give 'em yours!" Today, we had smiles to spare! 😊💖

Three of our sixth graders were invited to join the Madonna Junior Dons volleyball team this year. The whole team was recognized last night at the varsity game. We’re always rooting for our Madonna teams, but we’re extra proud of these three who are excellent representatives of our Irish family!

💛 Learning through play is the best kind of learning! 💛
Yellow Day in Pre-3!!

We started our yellow tie-dye shirts on Monday, but there was a lot more happening than just making something cute! While learning about the color yellow, our friends were also strengthening their fine motor skills by squeezing and using pipettes to add the dye.

To them, they were just having fun making shirts… but we knew there was lots of learning happening along the way! 😉💛

And just look at how cute their yellow creations turned out! ☀️🍋🌼

🚀 Year 5 of Little Steamers is officially underway! 🔬
With our largest group of kids yet, we kicked things off with a magical twist- stepping into a world where science meets storytelling for our Fairytale STEM kickoff!
Using limited supplies and their creative brains, students created beanstalks for Jack to climb to reach the castle above. They built and tested structures to withstand the Big Bad Wolf, and they built bridges for the Three Billy Goats Gruff to cross. Collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity are three key ingredients to awesome STEM learning.

Second grade is letting their learning take flight with Mystery Science! Today we learned why airplanes can't go to outer space. Keep dreaming big little flyers!

Look how cute! When some of the Kindergartners stay in Aftercare, they decide to build a campfire to tell stories, complete with goldfish and dorito flames! 🔥

🔴 🔵 Can you beat the machine? 🟢 🟡
Our 5th and 6th graders took on a massive tech challenge last week! After watching Mark Rober’s video on the classic game SIMON, our students got to work.
They mapped out complex code paths, put their logic skills to the test, and then stepped up to the plate to try and beat the game themselves! 🧠💡
Turns out, it’s hard to beat a robot!
