One of our core community programs that attract a lot of people is Secrets to Living Longer and Living Stronger. The harmonious blend of science and scripture is brought each night. Community members learn more about how to live healthy for this life and to live with God for eternity. HEALTH students gain so much experience as they help facilitate the meeting and connect with the guests who come. They will be able to incorporate the skills learned in this community program to teach them to many people around the world.

Religion and Health taught by our exuberant Pastor Don is one of the core classes of the HEALTH program. Students learn how to connect science and Scripture cohesively to share with people in the community and their coaching contacts. Enrolled along with the HEALTH students are 1st-year nurses and theology majors who benefit from this class to use in their respective fields.

Principles of Health is an informative class taught by Dr. Neil Nedley. This class shares the latest scientific research on the top leading causes of diseases in the United States and prevention from these diseases occurring. HEALTH students use this knowledge in their community programs and individual health coaching sessions. Additionally, students from the Nursing, Masters in Theology, and Natural Science program are in this class to use the information in their respective fields.

Mental health is a growing issue developing all around the world. That is why in the HEALTH program, we equip our students with tools and resources to help people dealing with depression and anxiety. In addition, in the HEALTH program, students obtain practical experience leading out in a community class and being facilitators in small group discussions. We have a phenomenal group of students enrolled in the HEALTH program this year! They have been busy in class and out of class hosting cooking schools and doing outreach in the community.
