The weather isn’t the only thing hitting the triple digits around here.

We are proud to announce that Weimar ISD has once again received an ‘A’ rating and a perfect score of 100 on the Texas Education Agency’s Schools FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) accountability system! 🌟

This rating represents "Superior Achievement"—the highest possible grade given by the state.

What does this mean for our community?

✅ Transparent use of local taxpayer dollars
✅ Ensuring maximum resources go directly toward classroom learning and student success.

This summer we were honored to receive at $10,000 grant from the The Home Depot Foundation to update our shop with new tools and equipment.

School attendance is about so much more than school funding. Every day in the classroom matters! Students who attend school regularly are more likely to:

Even missing just 2 days a month can add up to more than 20 days of lost learning over the course of a school year. Every day counts, and we want our Wildcats learning, growing, and thriving!

We know appointments and family events happen, but whenever possible, please plan them around student holidays and breaks.

Our hearts and prayers are with the East Bernard community as they face such an unimaginable loss.

We are lifting up the families and loved ones, the students, staff, coaches, athletes and community members impacted by this tragedy.

This morning, Weimar Junior High was briefly placed on a hold while an ambulance responded to campus for a student experiencing a medical issue. During this time, all students and staff remained safely in their classrooms, and normal campus operations resumed once the situation was addressed.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and respect for the privacy of the student and family involved. Thank you for your continued trust and support.
