Mark your calendars and come out to support Little Bees Early Learning Centers! 🐝🎉 Join us on Saturday, November 14th at 7 PM at Beef 'O' Brady's in Barclay Crossing for a fun-filled family night!

🎱 Bingo is just $5 to play, and YES, the kiddos can play too! We'll also have some awesome raffle baskets and a 50/50 raffle! 🎟️🎁

Bring the whole family, grab some dinner, and stay for a few rounds of bingo! 💛 We would love to see our Little Bees families and community come together for a fun evening while supporting our centers!

Today, the children explored different sea animals through a fun sensory guessing activity! Each sea animal was covered in shaving cream, and the children used their sense of touch to feel and guess what animal was hiding underneath. Then, they washed the shaving cream away with water to reveal the animal and see if their guess was correct. This activity encouraged sensory exploration, curiosity, and observation while learning about different sea animals!

Our little learners have been busy learning through hands-on fun! 🎣🐢🌈 The children went fishing for letters and numbers, practicing recognition, early literacy, counting skills, and hand-eye coordination as they made each catch.

They also created colorful coffee-filter art by coloring and spraying the filters with water to watch the colors spread and blend together. This fun process encouraged color exploration, creativity, fine motor development, and an understanding of cause and effect. Their beautiful designs will soon be turned into adorable sea turtles! 💛

Our sweet Jackson LOVES bubbles! 🫧💛

Sensory play is so important in our one-year-old room because it gives our little ones a fun way to explore the world around them. Activities like bubbles help support visual tracking, hand-eye coordination, reaching and grasping, language development, and cause-and-effect learning.

The best part? They’re learning through something that feels like pure fun! 🐝🫧

🎃🍂 Such a fun way to kick off October! Our 3- and 4-year-olds explored pumpkin purée using their senses by smelling it, talking about what it reminded them of, and then tasting it and sharing their opinions. We heard everything from honey and cinnamon to pumpkin pie… and even a big “ew!” 😂

After our little pumpkin taste test, everyone took turns helping make our edible pumpkin playdough by mixing pumpkin purée, cornstarch, and pumpkin pie spice. We made enough to share with the whole school, so our 1- and 2-year-olds got to join in on the fun too! 🧡

This activity encouraged sensory exploration, language and vocabulary development, turn-taking, fine motor skills, following directions, teamwork, and lots of hands-on learning! 🐝🎃

in our 3’s room, Ms. Kayla worked with the children on a fun counting caterpillar activity! 🐛🌈 The children practiced matching the correct number of colorful pom-poms to each caterpillar while counting aloud.

This hands-on activity helped strengthen number recognition, one-to-one correspondence, counting skills, and early math concepts. Picking up and placing the small pom-poms also supported fine-motor development, hand-eye coordination, and concentration. Learning through play makes practicing new skills so much fun! 💛🐝

Circle time is such an important part of our day at Little Bees! 🐝💛 Our 1-, 2-, and 3-year-olds enjoy coming together for songs, stories, conversations, movement, and fun learning activities. 📚🎶

Circle time helps build language and communication skills, listening and attention, social-emotional development, and early learning concepts. It also gives children opportunities to practice taking turns, following directions, participating in a group, and building confidence while interacting with their teachers and friends. 🥰

We love making learning fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate for all of our little learners! 🐝✨

Today Ms. Kayla’s threes class read The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle! 🐛🍎🍓🍊

While reading, we stopped to ask questions about the story, talk about what was happening, and encourage the children to make predictions about what might happen next. This helps build language and communication skills, comprehension, and critical thinking. 📚💭

After the story, the children created their very own hungry caterpillars! They used glue sticks to glue colorful paper squares together, giving them a fun opportunity to practice fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity. ✂️🖍️🐛

We love turning story time into hands-on learning! 💛
