If you’re traveling this summer and want to bring your firearm or self-defense items with you, know that you absolutely can, but they must be packed safely and properly.

For fi****ms and ammo, that means in a locked and hard-sided case and declared with your airline at check-in.

For items like knives and pepper spray, those must be safely secured in your checked bag. That also applies to any tasers or stun guns.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know that as of today, 12/31/24, Bravo Alpha Fi****ms Training, a firearm training business, is officially closed and ceases to exist. This was a very difficult decision, but necessary. The reason for this decision is simply that I as founder of Bravo Alpha Fi****ms Training find the logistics of managing a business to be too much for me at this time.

In regard to myself, the untimely and unexpected passing of my mother this past August has had a profound impact on my life in a number of different ways, all of which ultimately led me to the decision to close Bravo Alpha Fi****ms Training. I’ve come to realize that life is extremely short and as such, it has become much more important to have a better work/life balance. A former colleague of mine told me many years ago that your goal in life should be to work to live, not live to work. For many years now, whether through financial necessity or because it was a great passion of mine to provide what I felt was an important community service by providing competent fi****ms training, my life became one of living to work. My mother’s passing at 75 y/o completely changed my perspective about life and it is now very clear to me how very important it is to take an appropriate amount of time to enjoy your life and have fun while you’re here, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone.

I would like to thank all of the people who have supported me during this business venture, especially my son and my Fiancé, as without their support, I would not have been able to successfully run my business, along with handling all of my other responsibilities.

Moving forward, it is my intent and desire to continue to maintain my firearm instructor credentials, as I would still like to provide fi****ms training in some capacity, although I’m just not sure yet as to when or to what extent. In the meantime, if anyone needs any advice on anything related to fi****ms, concealed carry, etc., please feel free to reach out to me as needed, as I’m always willing to help.
