🚨 Learn to Recognize and Report Concerning Behaviors Before a Crisis Occurs 🚨

Join us for the Threat Evaluation and Reporting Overview (TERO) training on August 27, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Southern Union State Community College Resource Center (Lakeview Room), Wadley, AL. This free, three-hour training helps community members understand the behavioral approach to violence prevention and the important role we all play in recognizing and reporting potential threats.

This summer, US health officials have reported an increase in the number of domestic cyclosporiasis cases—an illness caused by the microscopic parasite, Cyclospora (Cyclospora cayetanensis). According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), there have been more than 1,500 confirmed cases since May 1, with additional illnesses currently being investigated.
