After 38 wonderful years in the field of early childhood education—including 31 unforgettable years as the owner of The Growing Place—I am announcing my retirement.
This journey has been the joy of my life. Over nearly four decades, I have had the profound honor of caring for and teaching thousands of students. Watching them grow, learn, and take their first steps into the world has been an absolute privilege.
None of this would have been possible without the incredible community surrounding me. I have been blessed to employ and collaborate with hundreds of dedicated teachers who poured their hearts into our classrooms every single day. To my staff, past and present, thank you for your passion, your loyalty, and your commitment to nurturing the next generation.
As I look ahead to my own next chapter, I am absolutely thrilled to be turning the business over to Mrs. Ande and Mrs. Kasandra. They possess a true passion and deep love for children, and I have complete confidence that they will continue to uphold the high standards of care and learning you have come to expect. The Growing Place is in wonderful hands, and I cannot wait to see how it thrives under their leadership. They have been preparing for this for years and are going to do an amazing job.
To the families who trusted me with their most precious gifts: thank you for letting me be a part of your children's lives. Though I am stepping away, the memories, laughter, and love we shared here will remain with me forever.
