🎒 A Big Thank You to Christian Outreach Alliance! 🎒

We are incredibly grateful to Christian Outreach Alliance for their generous donation of backpacks and school supplies to our school! These items were distributed to students during Student Orientation to help them start the school year prepared and ready to learn.

If your student is still in need of a backpack or school supplies, please let us know. We are happy to help while supplies are available.

Our Student Lighthouse Team met this week and is already getting to work! 🐅

Our returning members spent time organizing Leadership Portfolios for Friday’s Leader in Me lesson and learning more about how they can serve on the Student Lighthouse Tiger Collective, our leadership group within Student Lighthouse.

Student Lighthouse is all about giving students a voice and authentic opportunities to lead, serve, and make a positive impact on our campus. These returning Tigers are ready to lead, and now we are looking for new Tiger leaders to join them!

Interested in being part of Student Lighthouse? Don’t forget to pick up an application and turn it in during our Club Fair tomorrow. We can’t wait to see which Tigers step up to lead this year!

Our JROTC program is in full swing, and leadership is already happening! 🐅

Love seeing our Tigers start the year by taking ownership and presenting different components of how their class will work, then heading outside to work on formations and putting responsibility into action with flag duty at the end of the day.

Thank you, Sergeant Barrett, for intentionally building leadership from day one. I can’t wait to see what these Tiger leaders do this year!

Our AV II students are getting ready to start recording our daily announcements! 🎥🐅

Our Tiger TV production group is behind the scenes making it all happen, from our daily announcements to our monthly Tiger TV episodes. It is exciting to see our students learning, creating, producing, and leading!

Our Tiger leaders are getting ready for tomorrow’s Club Fair! 🐅💛

Students were busy creating their club tables and getting ready to share all the ways Tigers can connect, lead, and get involved on campus.

The Club Fair is tomorrow during WIN time, so make sure your club form is turned in and come ready to find a place to get involved! We believe every student should have opportunities to grow as a leader, so be sure to check out our leadership clubs too.

There is a place for every Tiger to connect, contribute, and lead. 🖤💛🐅

WIN time = choice, connection, and learning! 🐅💛

We had to highlight one of today’s WIN sessions, the Leadership Escape Room! Students worked together to solve challenges, communicate, think critically, and put their leadership skills into action while trying to be the first team to escape! ⏳🙌

Our Tigers have incredible WIN choices each day that connect to our academic, social, and leadership goals. These opportunities allow students to explore interests, build skills, and take ownership of their experience.

A huge thank you to Sergeant Barrett for creating such a fun and engaging opportunity for our Tigers!

Learning maps are coming to life in our classrooms! 🐯📚

It was awesome to see students actively using learning maps in Algebra I with Mrs. Swit and Art with Mr. O, along with some incredible learning happening in Social Studies with Mrs. Williams and Mrs. Schneider. From our gallery walks and student-created visuals to a frame being used to deepen understanding of the amendments, students aren’t just receiving information—they are actively engaging with it and taking ownership of their learning.

The purpose of a learning map is simple but powerful: to clearly show students and teachers what needs to be taught and learned throughout a unit. Students can use the map to see where they are headed, track their progress, identify what they already know, and determine what they still need to learn.

And it all connects! Students can use their learning maps to make informed decisions about which WIN sessions will best support their next steps.

Clear learning. Active engagement. Student ownership. Purposeful support.

We’re creating classrooms where students know what they’re learning, where they are in the process, and what they need to do next.

That’s how we help grow!

Tigers, we reached our weekly by Thursday attendance goal! That means FREE DRESS tomorrow! Dresses, shorts, and skirts must be mid-thigh or longer, and pajama pants are welcome! If you’re unsure about your apparel, bring a change of clothes. Let’s celebrate our great attendance! Go Tigers!
