Kalyna Ukrainian Dance Ensemble

Kalyna Ukrainian Dance Ensemble Welcome to the Ukrainian Arts Foundation of Greater Rochester. We are a non-for-profit organization based out of Rochester, NY.

The Founders of the Organization came together in 2007 to help revive the love for Ukrainian Arts, and Culture, in the Rochester Community. The UAFGR began its journey with Ukrainian Folk Dancing. Creating dance groups for every age Group. These groups include Mamai, Svitanok, Dunay, and Veselka. Soon after, the UAFGR began hosting cultural events at the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester, a p

lace that we call home. Here we have helped raise money for both the UAFGR, and the Cultural Center. The UCC and the UAFGR work hand in hand to help assure the preservation of Ukrainian Culture.

📣 Exciting news for our Kalyna families! 🇺🇦❤️

Kalyna is growing! Due to increased enrollment, we’re excited to announce that we’ve added another dance group for the 2026–2027 season! 💃🕺

📅 Save the dates!
Classes begin September 20–23, depending on your dancer’s assigned group.

With our new group structure, dancers will have more opportunities to learn, grow, and receive individualized attention from our instructors.

📍 Practices are held at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, 1040 Jackson Road, Webster, NY.

Registration will be opening soon! Keep an eye on uafgr.org for updates and additional information.

We can’t wait to welcome our dancers back for another wonderful year of Ukrainian dance! 🇺🇦✨
