South Sumter Middle FFA The South Sumter Middle FFA Chapter is part of the National FFA Organization. Our chapter is made of FFA members from South Sumter Midlde School in grades 6-8.

Our chapter strives to develop leaders, promote agriculture and serve others.

1st edition of “Outstanding in the Field “ . Each week our Ag students /FFA club will recap all the exciting things happening in the class/ club .

🐂 This week we continued breaking our chapter steer by leading and getting him comfortable with new faces .

🪏 We added new soil to our garden beds getting ready for planting a late garden .

👧 👦 Our Flat FFA member project had students looking for Agriculture on 3 adventures in the world .

🏷️ Students learned about tagging identification and completed a lab using tagging equipment .

It was a busy week of learning and fun. Check back next week for more about “Outstanding in the Field”. 🌽

🐥❤️🖤 A great day for South Sumter FFA! Today, a few of our students joined our Ag teacher to pick up chicks for our Florida State Fair Project.

As an unexpected bonus, the Nutrena Feed representative announced a giveaway—and out of 26 clubs, South Sumter FFA was selected to receive an entire year of free feed! 🎉

What an incredible surprise! Congratulations to our students and Ag program, and thank you to Nutrena Feed for supporting agricultural education! 🌾
