🎃 We have seen some INCREDIBLE trunks at Trunk or Treat the past few years, and we can't wait to see what families come up with this year! If you still need a little bit of inspiration, there's plenty coming your way here.

🚘 Ready to help make Trunk or Treat extra special for our students this year? At the time of posting, a few trunk slots still remain, so click the link in the comments to grab one quick!

🍬 Not ready to commit to a trunk? No worries! You can still be part of the fun. The link in the comments will also allow you to RSVP if your Panda plans to attend, and allows families to sign up to contribute candy if they are able.

🐼 So good to see so many Pandas + their families at DeWitt Road Elementary Open House yesterday evening!

💗 New faces joined the PTSA! Welcome - we're so glad you're here! Membership has plenty of great benefits, but most importantly, it's a first step towards getting involved with the PTSA.

🍬 Skelly + Jack, our 'candy monsters' officially arrived, and some folks already fed them treats! They'll be hanging around DeWitt Road for the next few weeks, so we encourage families to send a bag of Trunk or Treat sweets in to feed them!

👕 Our pop-up Apparel Shop was open! Keep an eye open at future PTSA events for more chances to find DeWitt Road themed apparel at incredibly reasonable prices!

☀ Now, get out in the sunshine + enjoy your long weekend, Pandas!

🐼 Did you guys know that Pandas were such good runners?!

🎉 We were blown away by the successful fundraising from SO MANY committed DeWitt Road Elementary families over the past few weeks.

👟 Watching your kiddos race around the field while you cheered them on was the perfect finale to another DeWitt Dash fundraising season.

💗 Thanks are going out one last time to everyone who had a hand in this enormous undertaking... families who fundraised, school admin who made the event possible, and the Pandas who ran their hearts out.

📷 A note about photos... PTSA guidelines state parents must sign a release for their child's face to be shared on PTSA channels. If you notice your child's face blurred, it's because a release is not on file, or I wasn't able to match the name on file with the photo. Please reach out if you'd like to sign a release for photos at future PTSA events.

🎃 Here comes Halloween! These festive friends will be arriving at DeWitt Road Elementary just in time for Open House, and they LOVE candy.

🍬 Please consider dropping some candy off ahead of Trunk Or Treat! Families are invited to bring a bag with them to Open House, or send in a bag any time over the next few weeks, to 'Feed Jack a Snack' or 'Fill Skelly's Belly'.

🚘 There's still space for families to host trunks, sign up to contribute candy, or RSVP that they'll be celebrating with us on October 24, so be sure to click the link in the comments if you need to add your name to the list.

👻 Stay spooky, Pandas!

🚸 DeWitt Road Elementary teachers + staff who have helped get the word out to families over the last few weeks, and had their normal days disrupted for this morning's race.
👟 All of the families + friends who came out this morning to cheer on the Pandas as they dashed around the field.
💗 Alicia Ziegler for taking charge of this incredibly important event.

🐼 Amazing work out there, Pandas! We've got a fun year ahead of us thanks to your hard work, and we can't wait to get started.
