Well, look who stopped by the Holy Cross booth at Most Holy Trinity’s 59th Annual Ho-Down! Archbishop Hebda! 💙💛

We were so honored that he took a few minutes to visit with our Holy Cross parents and students. What a special reminder that we are all part of one big Catholic family, working together to help our children know, love, and serve God.

Thank you, Archbishop Hebda, for taking the time to stop and say hello. It was definitely a special moment for our little school! ✝️

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our Food Truck & Craft Fair on Thursday! We are so grateful to our amazing vendors, food trucks, volunteers, and everyone who stopped by to shop, eat, and spend the evening with us.

Holy Cross may be a little school, but we are surrounded by one incredible community that continues to show up and support us time and time again. We truly cannot thank you enough! 💙💛

I’ll be sharing our school supply lists below, so be sure to save them before heading out to shop. And while you’re filling those carts, don’t forget to check out our teachers’ Amazon Wish Lists too! Our teachers put so much time, love, and often their own money into preparing their classrooms, so every little bit helps! ❤️

🎒 BACK-TO-SCHOOL NIGHT
Thursday, August 27 | 5:00–7:00 PM

Stop by anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 PM to drop off school supplies, meet your teacher, and help your kiddos get excited for another wonderful year at Holy Cross!

A few additional meetings will also be held that evening:

🐔 VENDOR SPOTLIGHT TIMES TWO! 🛍️

Our Arts & Craft Fair is getting closer, and today we are highlighting two vendors with special ties to our community!

First up is The Whistlin Chicken, run by Terry and Mary Lu, the former owners of the old Whistle Stop in Lonsdale! They will be serving their delicious broasted chicken fingers, and if you remember the Whistle Stop, you already know you are going to want to come hungry! 😋

We are also excited to welcome Ashley’s Fun Creations! Ashley is a Holy Cross alumna who came back to work at Holy Cross, which makes having her join us even more special. She creates the cutest handmade cards and fun pens, and I may personally own a slightly ridiculous number of them... but they are just that good! 😂

☀️ Summer Spotlight: Mrs. Trcka ☀️
Summer is in full swing for Mrs. Trcka, and she’s making the most of every minute! From theater camps to time with family, she’s been soaking up all the best parts of the season. She’s also went to a music convention in Washington, D.C., continuing her love of all things music, and fitting in piano lessons along the way. 🎶

If you know Mrs. Trcka, you know she doesn’t slow down in the summer—this is just a small sneak peek of her busy and joy-filled days! We can’t wait to have her back in the classroom this fall, sharing all her energy and passion with our 4th graders. 💙💛
