Here's when each age group tries out:
June 23 → 10U, 11U, 12U from 9–11 AM | 13U & 14U from 1–4 PM
June 29 → 16U from 9 AM–12 PM | 15U from 2–5 PM
July 5 → 17U & 18U from 2–5 PM
July 6 → Makeup tryouts, ALL ages, 5–8 PM

You are always a step late on defense. It is not your reaction time. It is your starting position.

A passive stance locks your weight back and you cannot move until it is too late. An active ready position gets your weight forward, hands alive, and makes you explosive on the first step.
