Did you know Clark Elementary has a Girl Scout Troop for every grade? If your daughter hasn’t joined Girl Scouts yet but has been thinking about it, we’d love to have her! Girl Scouts is a great way to make new friends, try new adventures, build confidence & leadership skills, earn badges, explore the outdoors, help the community, and have lots of FUN with other Clark girls! 🥰

Most Clark Troops meet about once a month, plus additional fun activities throughout the year. Families can participate in as many or as few of those activities as work for their schedules, so Girl Scouts can easily fit into a busy family schedule. Annual registration is $65, and financial assistance is available.

💚 We’d also love to have more family members get involved! Each Clark Troop would welcome additional adult volunteers, and the commitment can be as little as helping out at one monthly troop meeting. Volunteers can be a parent or guardian, but they can also be a grandparent, aunt, uncle, adult cousin, or another adult family member who would enjoy being part of their Girl Scout’s experience. 💚

Not sure which Clark troop your daughter would join? I can help! Check out the flyer for more information or feel free to text or email me with any questions. I’d be happy to help connect your daughter with the Girl Scout troop for her grade!

Yearbook Committee Sign Up AND First Day Dropbox:

Erin Ketcherside is looking for a few volunteers to help with the Clark Yearbook Committee this year. Our yearbook is truly one of a kind, and it takes help from the whole school community to capture all the memories that make our school special!
You do not need experience to help—just a little time, creativity, and willingness to help with:
Collecting and organizing photos from school events and milestones
Taking photos at events, classroom activities, or special days
Helping choose the best photos for each page
Formatting, designing, and laying out pages in Canva
Proofreading names, captions, and pages before we submit them

How photo sharing will work
Throughout the school year, she will share Dropbox folders for different school events and milestones. When a folder is shared, please upload your favorite 2–3 photos of your child from that event for inclusion in the yearbook.

A few quick notes:
Dropbox folders will generally stay open for a few weeks after each event.
Once the corresponding yearbook page is complete, the folder link will be closed.
Sharing a photo does not guarantee it will be used, but we do our best to include as many students as possible.
Clear, well-lit unfiltered photos work best—especially photos showing identifiable faces!!

If you would like to join the committee, help with photos, or assist with Canva design and layout, please comment below or send Erin a message. Even helping with one event or one page can make a huge difference.

Contact Erin Ketcherside if interested [email protected]

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL PHOTOS!
Add 2-3 of your favorite First Day of School photos to THIS DROPBOX. We leave dropboxes open for approximately 2 weeks, so add them while you can!
