We had a great start to the Iowa State Fair so far!

Avery Po**en placed 4th with one of her pigs and received a blue for the other!

Aeden Anderson showed sheep and placed 6th, 7th and 10th in his classes!

Aliyah Howard placed 3rd in her class with her pig!

Brynlee Maas showed a simmental and placed 3rd in her class!

Sidney Walker showed a polled Hereford and placed 1st in his class!

Quinn Whaley showed a chianina and placed 1st in his class!

Our officer retreat was a great way to kick off the year!

Our officers and advisors spent the week in Okoboji getting to know each other better, making plans for the year ahead, setting goals, and having some fun along the way!

We’re excited to see what this team can accomplish and can’t wait for a great year for our chapter!

We are happy to announce that the Webster City FFA Chapter has received a 3 Star National Chapter Award for 2025-2026!

The National FFA 3 Star Chapter Award is the highest national rating a chapter can receive through the National Chapter Award Program. This recognition is awarded to roughly the top 5% of FFA Chapters nationwide.

This award recognizes chapters that excel in operational quality, comprehensive programming,and actively carry out the FFA mission of growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture.

Hamilton County Fair visitors are invited to cheer on participants in the Hamilton County Bacon Buddies® program on July 25 following the Swine Show and Bacon Bits in Webster City. 🐷

Bacon Buddies® gives individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to experience the excitement of showing a pig in the ring alongside supportive 4-H and FFA youth mentors.

The event is sponsored by the Iowa Pork Producers and the Hamilton County Pork Producers.

Today, our FFA chapter had the privilege of hosting a lunch stop for the WHO Great Iowa Tractor Ride. We welcomed more than 400 riders from across the country!

One of the best parts was getting to see our members meet the riders and check out the tractors. A few even got the chance to be interviewed for The Big Show!

We are incredibly thankful for all of the volunteers, chapter members, parents, and community supporters who stepped up to help. A special thank you also goes out to the local businesses whose generosity helped make this event possible.

Today 5 FFA members had the opportunity to help with the Hamilton County Clover Kids Summer Day Camp!

The Clover Kids learned all about biosecurity and practiced putting on their own biosecurity gear. They also got a chance to meet and learn about chickens, sheep, and goats.

The FFA members got to practice biosecurity practices by helping clean up the animal area at the end of the day!

Yesterday, we had four members compete in the Iowa FFA State Ag Mechanics Contest. They participated in MIG welding, wiring a basic switch, diagnosing a small gas engine, as well as other skill events and knowledge tests. As a team they earned a Silver Rating. Congratulations John, Leland, Luke, and Joe! 🧰🛠️
