We’re thankful for all our teachers and staff who make a difference in the lives of our students each day!

👩‍🏫 ❤️🩵 It is TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK! Teachers are a special kind of a someone. We want to celebrate all of our Webb City teachers for who they are and what they do in and outside of the classroom:

-Spending countless hours setting up their classroom in July and August to make sure it runs smoothly and is a fun place to learn
-Keeping a line item on their personal budgets for classroom expenses
-Becoming an expert at phonetically deciphering words that are wildly misspelled
-Celebrating the big wins like a student finally grasping a concept along with the smaller ones like a smooth hallway transition
-Smiling when a student tells a long, completely off-topic story—because they know the student just trusts them enough to share it
-Realizing that even on the most chaotic days, the relationships they build with students are the part that sticks with them the most

For all these things and so much more, teachers, WE CELEBRATE YOU! Thank you for loving our students, teaching them well and carrying them in your hearts for years after they walked out of your classroom for the last time!

It is NATIONAL SCHOOL COUNSELORS APPRECIATION WEEK! Our Webb City counselors show up every day to listen, encourage, and help students find their way. They make a real difference by supporting students through challenges big and small, often behind the scenes. We honor and thank them for their care, patience, and constant commitment to our students’ success! ❤️🩵❤️🩵

We’re excited to meet our 2026-2027 kindergarten students!

Kindergarten Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡! This year, we’re extra excited to introduce our brand-new 𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 & 𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗔𝗬 scheduled for 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵!

𝙐𝙥𝙤𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 “𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥 𝙊𝙣𝙚” 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙀𝙣𝙧𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨, families will have the opportunity to schedule their child’s screening appointment for this special event. On March 12th, incoming kindergarten students will participate in a developmental screening and have the opportunity to meet district staff, sign their official commitment certificate to begin their educational journey, take a photo with the Webb City Cardinal mascot, and receive fun giveaways.

We encourage families to begin “Step One” of the Kindergarten Enrollment Process as soon as possible to secure a time slot on Thursday, March 12th. We look forward to welcoming our newest Cardinals this spring and supporting their successful start in the Webb City School District!

It is NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY, and we are pretty proud of ours! Huge shoutout to Officer Smith, Officer Love, Officer Woolverton and our Director of Security, Tyler Christensen for keeping our district safe and doing your part in creating a worry-free spot for our students and faculty! They go above and beyond in building a meaningful rapport with our students that helps foster trust and a positive relationship that extends far beyond security measures. Thank you for being invaluable partners at Webb City School District! ❤️🩵❤️🩵

Our first grade students read the book Balloons Over Broadway to learn about the history of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. To celebrate, our students made their own balloons and participated in our 2nd Annual “Balloons Over Truman Parade”.

We had special guests at Bess Truman yesterday! Future Teachers of America students from the high school visited and led lots of fun activities for our students and got to see what it’s like to be a classroom teacher. We love partnering with the high school to provide great learning experiences for both groups of students!
