Thank you for visiting my page, Celia Teaches Piano! As every student learns differently, I believe in a flexible, student-centered teaching approach. My program uses various learning methods to introduce note reading, ear training, improvisation, rhythm, music theory, and more, to develop an ever evolving strategy that works best for each student. While some gravitate towards note reading and "following the book," others might prefer improvising or playing by ear. Some retain knowledge better by playing games and marching out rhythms while others do better filling out worksheets. There's truly no one best method for learning piano, and it's my goal to get your child (or you!) to where they want to be on the road to piano proficiency, while keeping them engaged, having fun, and growing their love for music.

For ages 10 and up, I recommend weekly 45 minute lessons (current rate is $35 per week). For ages 4 to 9, I recommend weekly 30 minute lessons (current rate is $30 per week). Tuition is due monthly at the start of each month.
