Simsbury Grange will host its annual Agricultural Fair and celebrate our 90th birthday on Saturday, June 11th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The fair will feature exhibits from local organizations and farms, kids’ activities sponsored by The Children's Clubhouse, and contests with ribbons and cash prizes in several categories. Entertainment featuring Out The Boxx will also be provided.

The community is invited to participate. Join us as a nonprofit exhibitor and/or as a contest entrant.

The recent infant formula shortage has created an extremely challenging situation for families who rely on formula to feed their children.

We know that ramping up production will take time, and many Connecticut families are feeling the stress and pressure of this situation.

In an effort to support families, the OEC has compiled resources that may help those struggling to find formulas.

Did you know:
- The cost of child care is unaffordable for 80% of parents.
- Parent fees and government subsidies are not enough to support fair wages for child care workers.
- Our state economy needs parents of young children in the workforce.
- State funding for eligible families has not increased since 2015

This Tuesday, March 15th, we would like to join our fellow child care programs across the state in the Day of Action. While we will not be participating in the delayed opening, we are asking all the parents in our community to please sign this solidarity letter to legislators, and share the link wherever you can. CT Child Care and families need more funding, help us make some noise.
